I wanted to have a punk give the clue to the Vanguards and say "We forgot to leave this at the scene", and then someone would say "You forgot? That's just sloppy writ--I mean, just sloppy", but it was a little late for that.

Post any ideas you might have about the clue soon, cause we're ready to move on to the third one...

I've got to admit you have me on a tight stop regarding the survellaince, because I had to change the method of escape as a result of something written in someone else's post, and I didn't consider a couple of things when I did that. But I'll figure things out. These are the risks of doing a story like this.

I think when the action depart from one place to another, it would be better to label it at the beginning of a post. You know, something like: "Meanwhile, in Berlin..." or "At the same time, in La Perdita..."

Just to make the story more clear.

The other people in the building are okay... I was just being dramatic.

The Strikeforce issue mentioned doesn't really exist. But let's pretend it does.

Now that I've give you enough time to catch your breath after that shocker, I'll move on with the story.

We're getting to the good part...

Ok, this is where it gets interesting.

With all the information provided, you could stop the next killing. WHAT? Yeah... yeah.

Now, for the characters to have all the information you do, they gotta be in the same place... And for that to happen I need three things:

1) Your approval to get rid of the UN Vanguard ban, at least temporarily. I got a believable way to do that.

2) Since, obviously, we can't have every VI, VE and SF3 member come together, I need you to tell me which one characters you'd like to bring in. It'd be nice if we kept a balance between VE and VI. The SF3 will be represented by only two characters, so don't fear it's massive roster.

3) A twinkie bar.

The sooner I know these things, the sooner we get on with the story. The third point is not a request but a demand and must be fulfilled ASAP if you don't want your characters to be killed and raped. In that order.

I'd like to see Adem and Tommy go across from VE.

As I've said before, this is Adem's chance to shine, and it seems unfair to cut him out. Plus, nonsensical as he is the most well-trained candidate.

Obviously, I like Tommy. But I also believe that seeing him interact with a team who he idolises (insitutionally rather than individually) would be interesting. It'd be good for his character as well.

I at least think Drake should go over from VE and Grissom from VI. I think there should be some semblance of leadership represented. (Without Danny in VI anymore, I think Grissom or Phil would be the closest thing to a leader the group has at present. Just my opinion.)

I'd like to see both Phil and Grissom from VI.

Don't use Lykopis. I don't think it will work.

Phil, Grissom, Adem, Ozzy, and Drake all scream 'yes'.

Robo Squirrel's in. Reilly isn't really being used in this story.

Do you really HAVE to lift the UN ban? I'm happy to write them sneaking off the island then facing the consequences later. Actually, having the UN crack down on them after this story is through kind of works with something I want to do.

That sounds cool... If everyone agrees with that we'll go that way.

I need to hear opinions, people!

I'm fine with the lift or without it. I have complete faith in your ability to end it well, Mxy. You are, after all, a two-time Golden Robbie winner!

As for the UN Ban thing, I have no preference. Lift it. Destroy it. Don't. It never gives me pause, one way or another.

As for who to bring over, my suggestions: Griss, Phil, Grimm, Bri, Drake, Adem, Tommy, and Gaunt.

Ozzy's expertise ends at boxing. So, unless you need someone to have the crap kicked out of, there would be no point in bringing Baxter. And, honestly, I don't know Tiberius enough yet to want him involved. And Ian's a secondary character. So, it's not important if any of my characters are represented.

Who are the two from Strikeforce, Mxy?

I don't care which characters go. I do think at least the two Vanguard teams should get together to compare notes before the Strikeforce comes crashing in.

And I have a Gaunt/Mcgregor/Paragon bit I'd like to post tonight.

Posted. Sorry if it's rushing the crossover too much, but I wanted to wrap up the Mantell lead. If it's too early for people to start rushing about with the crossover we could have Paragon or McGregor throw something up to keep them in Munich for a while

CJ and I decided to actually write the Ozzy/Lykosis training fight. But, instead of taking up the Murder Mystery story with it, we'll do it in a short solo that I just started.

Okay, CJ, you're up....

Don't worry about the crossover, I have a way of getting the teams together, I just haven't gotten around to doing it (hopefully I'll have posted it today).
To be honest I don't know what to do with the Mantell lead, but if anyone thinks of how it can come into play later on go ahead and do it.

I intended the undercover agents in La Perdita and Berlin to be common people around the teams (a guy in Jake's bar... the janitor of the Berlin HQ... stuff like that), but re-reading my post I realized they could easily be team members, so if anyone wants to play that angle they're free to do it. They don't have to be evil, just loyal to the UN and unaware of Merlin's real personilty. I don't know if this fits in with what's been revealed about RoboSquirrel, Danny. It doesn't have to come out right now... I'm just throwing the idea out there in case anyone wants to pick it up.

The Mantell lead could be something that some of the other characters end up following up on. Maybe do it in a side story ala Lykopis vs. Ozzy. It could be fun to send a handful of the other VI/VE characters in that direction.
