see, this is what kills me.

i don't care about the politics of it all. i'm not trying to "censor" your political beliefs, either. as an aside, this forum has a difficult time understanding the difference between disagreeing and censoring and/or silencing.

what i am trying to point out is that its insane to be discussing bush's level of action or, disturbingly, the time in which he reacted at whatever level. perhaps it was equally insulting that he wore a red tie, instead of blue, while issuing care and concern 2.3 hours slower than al gore would have with 0.8% less money than john mccain would have.

talk about making news!

this became a political event mere moments after the tragedy, which i find appaling and sad. it being politicized here was depressing, but expected. as wednesday said, thats the only way this topic would become popular.

but to compare this to 9-11? to describe how this hits home, compared to that? thats a difficult task.

after all, it took months for that to be politically debated on message boards. we've got that beat in record time. us ass holes back after 9-11 were just trying to figure out how to cope with such loss, and how to help to rebuild.
