If a girl in Italy ask a guy "Do you want to trim my capelli?" (head-hairs), the guy would be very perplexed, unless he is a hairdresser. Else, if the girl aks "Do you want to trim my peli?" (body-hairs) the guy could wonder if the girl is talking about superflous hairs from her superior lip, or pube or legs or other mysterious parts of her body, but he would know for sure that she is performing some sort of primeval act of seduction upon him.
