Another thing to consider is that remakes are not new.
The magnificent seven was a remake or The seven samurai.
There were god knows how many Dracula/Frankenstein/Wolfman/Mummy/Invisible man remakes.
The Thing was a remake.
Never say never again was a remake.
Its nothing new,just more widespread now.
