Judging from everything I have seen, read, and have been forced to swallow from the over-hype media/merchandise machine, I have absolutely no interest in seeing Fantastic Four.
It seems to be a noted trend that if a movie is shoved down my throat at every turn, and overly-merchandised in every market of every possible type of product (i.e. Hulk, Sith, etc.) then, odds are good, there is a sizable compensation syndrome that the studios are trying to overcome. Odds are, it's going to be lame, and, they are simply trying to sell it to me however they possibly can.
FF? No thanks. Like Punisher, Elektra, Catwoman, Constantine, and the like, I simply don't think I'll waste my money reinforcing Hollywood's belief that everyone will stomach subpar fluff dressed up in pretty CGI.
