Fantastic stuff, people! CJ, your knowledge of mythological aspects is, as usual, incredibly impressive. Love the new Lykopis! Chewy, loved 'The Mad Prophets'. Great imagery, especially the Pollack-esque remark. Hope you don't mind me finishing it off. As I didn't know if Drake Foxe has any special abilities (and, to be honest, I think I like him as some form of normal, future-ish Icarus...pilot and sullen hothead extraordinaire), and Adem isn't a physical fighter, I had to come up with a way to intro my personal character early.
Let me elaborate on the whole 'two-seater' fighter thing, and the like. See, the only idea that I have about this whole thing, is that it is difficult for them. The trip. Dealing with the unknown. Their tech is piecemeal, but stable. But, it's not like it's a Star Trek starship, or anything. They have to make do with what they've got. Doesn't mean they can't collect and add stuff as they go (makes sense). Just means they don't have really cool shuttle pods, or, transporters, or impressive weapon systems (although, Grimm PMed me last night about his idea of internal security measures....I'll let him show you when he's ready to write it).
They are out there, alone, and hoping they have enough intelligence, bravery, and determination to accomplish their mission, and survive, knowing this might take them a long, long time.
Anyway, I'm loving the imagination shown by you guys. Hopefully Mxy, Danny, and the rest will add some stuff if they come up with something.
