Thanks for the vote of confidence, Chewy. If the majority voted for me, I'd do my best to keep things rational and even, following your example of old. Still, I think there's alot of life left in the old Walrus for leadership. Just saying...

Okay, I've heard from everyone except Grimm. But, I can talk to him on Wednesday when he comes over to see me.

And, a note: as requested, I won't be starting this story until the other two current stories are tied up and/or finished. Just so you know. But, with the consensus as a 'Go', I'll begin writing the opening chapter in preparation for posting. If anything changes, let me know. Thanks.

Oh and one more thing: I hate preconcieved anticipation. This story shouldn't be looked at as anything epic or grand. That is, unless you guys make it that way in writing it. Go re-read Crisis and ID Crisis, and things like that to get into the feel of it. It's the end of the world as we know it! And Vanguard feels......crappy?

Cheers.

Is this still valid and Pro is waiting for the current Vanguard Europe story to end, before doing his magic, or due to what has happened in the lives of everyone this project is dead?

I miss the round robin stories. Surely I'm having fun (altough by now I am at a dead point) in writing my solo, and even more in reading the other writer's solos that are keeping Vanguard alive... but round robin, for me, it's much more entertaing, even when I am just a reader...

I would like to make a proposal for... and IF... there are other people interested into a ongoing, round robin Vanguard series.

My idea is to skip one year in the future, and start with a new Vanguard team, composed by the characters of the ones who wants to keep playing.

We create a status quo (I have no prejudice about what, superhero team, meta-merc team, adventurers... let majority choose it... I would be perfectly fine with keeping the current Vanguard Europe setting), and a completely clean continuity.

All the unfinished stuff (Manhattan, Mandelovia, mad Gods, sentient planets, aliens, clones, angels and demons, Da Vincis's code...) has been resolved in the previous year... and eventually will be disclosed and revealed by their respective writers in miniseries... but in the moment we start, all the universe is clean for the new Vanguard writers...

And we start with self contained, story oriented adventures with a stable line up like we have discussed and agreed upon in this same talk thread.
