I don't really think that he blew them up personally. But there's a good deal of evidence that someone high up in the government knew about it and let it happen. That's why no jets were scrambled. Same as Pearl Harbor . Same as the Gulf of Tonkin .
There is historical precedent. I don't know how old you are, but if you're still around in 50 years I think it'll be commonly accepted and there will be more declassified evidence to back it up.
