Ceej... nice work with the Lykopis solo. I like seeing her humanised a bit more than usual.
But is Huerta comfortable talking about sessions with a patient with other people? Doesn't that contradict some sort of psychiatric code of ethics?

The way I saw it was this -- Lykopis is having issues with team dynaimcs. So it is important to get the team's input on this. It may not be the most ethical thing Huerta's ever done, but it is for Lykopis's benefit.

With Lykopis and Ozzy...there's a lot of sarcasim that goes around. I wasn't sure if Ozzy could be knocked unconscious, so I figured if I was wrong with that assumption, then the reader could assume Ozzy was just being sarcastic. Besides, how the hell else could I get him on that plane? Drug a glass of milk?

Ok, just reviewed this thread to double check a theory of mine. Chewy, I think the problem we're having with this particular story is no sense of direction. By that I mean we have no idea what you're going for, if anything. Nowhere in the talk thread have you stated what the point of the story was or whether or not we are able to just run with it anywhere we want. Plus, something here or in a PM to a poster or two with some details, if you have them, could help it along.
As it stands now, I don't know whether or not to write the Church of Smoke and Mirrors as circus midgets in clown make-up with leprosy worshipping a giant statue of golden cow's anus or a bunch of Vampyre the Masquerade Wishagoths.

In my head - and I tried (vaguely) to elude to this in the story thread - the House of Smoke and Mirrors is a cult who worship the Aztec deity Tezcatlipoca, the god of darkness and mischief. In all honesty, I have little direction for the story, save for the leader of the cult, so really you guys can do whatever you like. VE was sent in to investigate the disappearances (your clue: mirrors), which should lead (eventually) to the underground cult itself.
I really had no direction for this story other than the above... so, really... do whatever you want. I thought the story might have potential for Lykopis, Adem, and Gaunt... but, whatever. Basically, graduation, job hunting, and lack of motivation have contributed to my lack of posting... so I do apologize for that. Hopefully, I'll be able to post something this weekend... hopefully. So... yeah. Sorry. My bad.

Seriously, though, that's pretty much what we needed from the beginning. I think we were all pretty much lost as to what we had room to do. Intentions like this need to be spelled out before a story is started to make sure everyone is on the same page.

By the way, Wikipedia.org had some great stuff on Aztec gods, so I would recommend people read up on stuff there.
