You know, there is a Sports Forum.
But back to the topic at hand.
All guys like eye candy. We stare at women we find beautiful and drool. It happens. But mostly (though we deny it to ourselves) we know that there is no way in hell that we will every get close to them. There's a whole mutli-million dollar industry dedicated to showing men women that they have a snowball's chance in Hell with. Such is life. That's why most of us look for that girl we do have a chance with. And, for most of us, that means we have to beef up our intellectual side in order to snag 'em.
So, we start to force our brains to work for once. In that process, our brains decide that, if it has to do all this work to get a woman, then the woman's brain should have to do some work to get us. Laziness being in our genes, our brains must have a female brain that seems to work harder so that it can convince itself that it's still being lazy. That's why so many of us are posting about wanting women with intelligence and personality.
Ok. Not really. I just got bored, that's all.

I value intelligence and personality most in women; physical attributes aren't terribly important to me at this point in my life.
My "ideal" companion would be physically fit, somewhat "meaty", not obese but not skinny(I find that ultra-skinny look to be very unattractive) and around 5'7. I find I'm more attracted to shorter women, or to be more specific, women shorter than me. I'm 5'10(or 5'9 1/2), but I was always the smallest kid in the class growing up and that's made me fairly insecure about my height(it didn't help that basketball, a sport dependant on great height, was my first love), so I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be with a woman a lot taller than me. I suppose that's childish....but it's the truth.
As I said before, intelligence is a must. Intellectual stimulation to me is just as important, if not moreso, than sexual stimulation(and that's not an attempt to devalue sexual stimulation). Personality wise, I guess I'd like someone....like me. Compassionate, sensitive, mature, you know, the opposite of Rob. In a perfect world, my significant other would share my interests(comics, movies, sports), but I accept that this is highly unlikely.
Spiritually, as long as the person is open-minded and accepting I'm fine with just about any kind of religion. I myself am non-denominational(sometimes I don't think "atheism" is really a proper classification of my beliefs).

Just to delve into the specifics, I guess I'm more of a "breast man"(at least moreso than an "ass man" or a "leg man"). It's not the most important thing, or the first thing I notice in a woman, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't aroused by large breasts, it's simply an unavoidable fact. I agree completely with The Machine's comments, curves are definitely sexy, not the Ally McBeal annorexic model look. I also prefer fair skin and long black hair, but hair color isn't really an issue for me(I think preferences on hair color stem more from how women with certain hair color usually look rather than how the hair itself looks or how the hair makes someone look).

What I look for is a girl that can be my anchor. A person to make me forget about my problems for a little while so I can realize just how lucky I am to have somebody care about me.

What the heck, I'll answer too. Looks obviously draw a guy in, so the girl has to be attractive. Of course femine beauty varies from guy to guy, so I'll just stick with the nice rack (C's are nice, I don't like them too big), nice ass (thank God for the stretchy pants ![[humina humina]](graemlins/love.gif) ), long legs, and cute face. Personality is what will determine the relationship though. I've had my share of the basketcases and compulsive liars so I stear clear of that. There's your answer. Communication, now more than ever, is what appeals to me. It was the main reason I terminated all of my relationships, or that which I was led to believe may be construed as relationships. Their physical features were all VERY different, yet none of them were willing to let their guard down and make me aware of who I was getting "closer" to.
What kind of man I am? A man who knows that beauty fades and dumb is forever.
As for mental state.. Consciencious and logical, doesn't let its body act without first considering the most likely outcome. .. If you throw a baseball right at her and say "Think fast!" she won't.. She'll be in the middle of something more important and therefore will dodge the ball and warn you never to do that again or else.
Spirituality.. I was born Lutheran, but am now Christian, despite the fact that mother's still Lutheran, father apparently believes in God but doesn't seem to have ever been in the same room as a Bible. Used to only prefer Christian, now I require it.
The one thing I can't live without in a girlfriend? I have an answer but after reading most of these posts I'll say no comment.

I´ve never had a girlfriend, I´m 22 years old, and I´ve never had a girlfriend, never even been close! But I have been attracted to quite a few girls, so I do have some aspects I look for in a girl. Appearence, well, that´s a hard one. All men wants to be loved by a beautiful woman, there´s no denying that, but it´s not important, at least not compared to other things. But what do I look for in a girls appearence you ask? Well, I like long hair, shoulder long, back long, though not waist long in most cases, that´s usually too long. Eyes are great, some people have boring eyes, some people have real fishlike eyes (it´s true, I know a girl who has real fish like eyes, scary) Then there are those girls with just truly magnificent eyes, gotta love em! Hair and eye color is irrelevant, though I like blond and black hair. Their size is not really that important, though I have to pass when she´s really obesely fat, like real sumo size. Luckily (for them aswell) few such women exist. It´s not a demand, though I would be lying if I claimed that I didn´t care if they were bigger than me! T&A, never really been a T guy, as I said earlier I´m more of a hair and eyes guy, though I really enjoy a good behind, and sure nice breasts are never a bad thing. Face is important, I´d like her to have a nice looking face, with a smile. There are some women out there who may be attractive physically, but they just have a constant horrible expression, like a Holier-than-thou look, they gotta go! Smoking is a major turn-off with me, don´t like it, can´t have it! But I can live with it, though not if I can avoid it! Mentality. This one is actually the easiest. If they ain´t got brains they ain´t got appeal! Seriously, a woman who may look like a goddess, but is as stupid as a horses arse is just not attractive! Maybe for a one-night stand, but certainly not for a relationship, or even friendship (I know, that sounds really discriminating, but still.....) I like when women are intelligent, and witty, plus a little self-irony is always good. Sarcasm can be fun, but not too much. She doesn´t have to be Mensa material, but intelligence and humour are absolutely required! Beliefs. I really don´t care if she´s religious, as long as she doesn´t let that religion dictate how she should live her life! Religion is cool enough, as long as it doesn´t get out of hand. She gotta be able to hold on to her beliefs, she gotta have them for her own reasons, and not because she´s been "indoctrinated" (A harsh word, I know, if you got a better one, please let me know) If she tries to force her religion on me, well, can´t have that. She doesn´t have to be interested in politics, but if she is, that´s also good, but as with religion, she has to believe that way for her own reasons. And finally, I simply can´t have rascism, nothing turns me off like rascism! Such people are lost to me!
