I'm seriously considering the Air-Force cuz' that'd make up for college plus it'd count as career. But I actually want field experience in the infantry. So prolly the Army.

You should read "Jarhead" by Swafford, before you enlist. He was a STA (sniper / recon) marine in the Gulf War (different service, I know, but still), and now he's a journalist. Best book I've read in ages. Really compelling. You actually get a real flavour of what it was like to serve in modern active combat.

Congrats Pariahs! My dad was a Liutenant in the army "back in the day" and did the Airborne Ranger thing and everything. He looooved it and has the coolest stories. You'll be a great addition I'm sure! The only bad part is if you enlist now before college is over with you'll be a PFC ;\ They will pay for college thoughs-if you finish college you can enlist as an officer and not have to go through the crappy bootcamp. Anyways...thats really cool!

Dude, Just been hangin' out...working, living and raising the kid. My boy, Cael, is 19 months old. Will probably start the process of trying to make him a baby bro or sis sometime in the next few months. Different type of work - more basic stuff, setting up an IP practice for a big law firm. Its going well, but it gets a bit boring after the more edgy stuff I was doing in HK.
