Yeah, I know what you mean about The Manor and such. I remember so many nights when the place was packed and everybody was just bringing the funny. All you guys really kept me going when I was out of work for, like, 8 months. All I did was smoke cigarettes, post on the boards, drink as much as possible and laugh my ass off.
Things got a little deep when Athanon imploded and everyone went over to...was it Razorwit's board? Then 9/11 came along and things got a little too personal and mean spirited for me.
But, all in all, I'd have to say that early 2000 to mid 2001 on those boards had to be the best time ever had by a group of cyber-terrorists with an unhealthy fixtation on Bea Arthur and poo. I wasn't around on the Bat boreds in the very beginning but, I gotta believe that The 8-Ball Manor was filled with the most insane, eclectic, intelligent, hysterically funny group of perverts that's ever existed on the 'net.
Either that or we all rally needed to get lives.
