I dunno...I've been with the same gal for 6 years, so I'd think so. As for the ex, you think that - after 6+ years - she'd be able to move on with her life and be able to have a conversation devoid of bitterness or just ignore me. The fact that she needed to strike up the conversation that backfired on her is more sad than anything else. Some people just decide to stay bitter, I guess. And I believe that it's a person's conscious choice to be bitter or not.
