Recently DC released a second Sandman Mystery Theatre as a tpb, and also Morrison's Sebastien O and Doom Patrol.

The rationale for this was that the market had matured to the pioint that such sales were now feasible.

Its an interesting observation, that the growth of Vertigo now supports the reprint of old Vertigo stuff.

But DC had other titles in the past which would have been published as Vertigo, if they were simply ten years later.

Setting aside Watchmen (whcih almost certainly would have been a Vertigo publication now, and which has been reprinted many times), the two which immediately leap to mind are:

1. Thriller - a story set in the near future, most famous for Scabbard (a scary Arab terrorist who kept a large sword in a sheath made of skin attached to his spine) who later, oddly, appeared in Ambush Bug. Thriller was an excellent idea, well before its time, with an eye to the influence of the media,

2. Wasteland - a horror anthology.

Any others?
