Ermmm...

I notice that the RDJL were defatead by a tag team that no longer exist, technically. Does that mean they still go through? 'cos that doesn't seem right, given the storyline.

Alternatively, Notwedge could select a new tag team partner from among the ranks of the Bastardo's.

We're working on this. Technically, those matches took place before NWOOTC. But you definitely have a point.

Captain Sammitch/PenWing vs. Backwards7/Chewy Walrus

"Let's Get It Started" plays over the speakers as the new Tag Team Donkey Lovin Champions make their way to the ring.

Marcum: You'd think they'd be happy right now. They obviously don't appreciate the titles around their waists.

Monroe: Clearly their minds are on Meeko, still in the hospital as a result of Sneaky Bunny's vicious betrayal!

Marcum: Now we both know it was Sneaky who was betrayed. Meeko made a mistake thinking she could hold the best women's wrestler down. And her boys are making a big mistake if they don't focus on this match. Chewy Walrus and backwards7 made a statement last week with their brutal shutout victory over Team GOP! Looking past them would be a huge mistake!

"Turn The Page" plays as Backwards7 and Chewy Walrus walk to the ring, accompanied by Brian Owlmouth. Owlmouth yells to Backwards7 to start the match, and Chewy stands ready in their corner. Sammitch starts the match for the champs. The bell rings and Backwards7 quickly takes advantage of Sammitch's lack of focus with an Irish Whip to the corner followed by a series of chops. He grabs Sammitch's arm for another whip, but Sammitch reverses it and delivers some chops of his own in the opposite corner.

Sammitch and backwards continue to trade technical maneuvers in a display of chain wrestling that quickly brings the CheeseDome crowd to it's feet. Both men come to a standstill in the middle of the ring as Backwards holds out a hand for Sammitch to shake. Sammitch looks to the crowd for approval as the fans look poorly upon backwards' gesture.

Sammitch shrugs and shakes the former rWo member's hand. Backwards returns the shake and thumbs Sammitch in the eye with his other hand.

Monroe: "Of all the sneaky, dirty, lowdown. .."

Marcum: "That's smart wrestling! Sammitch sure is a dummy!"

Monroe: "He believes in going by the rules! Unlike some people, obviously!"

Backwards puts Sammitch in a headlock and takes him over to his corner where he tags in Chewy. Chewy steps in and the two whip Sammitch into the turnbuckles. Chewy peppers Sammitch with multiple shots to the abdomen. As Sammitch hangs in the corner, Chewy backs away and prepares for the Walrus Tusk (Spear). Chewy springs at Sammitch who ducks out of the way at the last second as Chewy slams between the ropes and into the ringpost shoulderfirst.

Sammitch pulls Chewy loose and goes for the rolling Sammitch Suplexes, but not before making the tag. As Sammitch releases Chewy from the third and last suplex, PenWing flies off of the top rope with the High Holy Howe, getting the three count and the win for the Champs!

Monroe: "They may be battered, they may be bruised, they may be down, but by Gob, they're not beaten! They're still the Champs, and they're still in this tournament!"

Marcum: "They got lucky, that's all."

Chris Oakley/James Fantastic vs. King Snarf/Joe Mama

The Bastardo team made their way down to ringside first, the IC Champ leading the way, followed by Louie Bastardo, Grace, and then finally, the World Champ King Snarf.

As the Family members stood smug in the ring, confident after their (mostly) victorious night at NWOOTC, James Fantastic's entrance music began to play.

Solemnly, Fantastic walked out to the ring alone, asking James White for the house mic.

Monroe: "What's he doing? Why's he out here alone?"

Marcum: "Obviously, his partner's too hurt to compete and he's out here to forfeit the match! He knows he can't compete with the Family!"

Monroe: "That's a dirty lie!"

"As most of you know," Fantastic began, "Chris Oakley and Ian Bond suffered injuries last night at No Way Out of the Closet, and are still in the hospital. Thanks to these. ..lowlives. . .I'm not going to sink to their level. Obviously, Chris can't compete tonight."

LB: "So just forfeit the match and bow out quietly. We won't think less of you."

JF: "As I was saying. . .Chris can't compete tonight, but the Doctor has allowed me to select a stand in for him. And here he is!" Fantastic points to the entranceway as "Turning Japanese" begins to play and Two-Ton Tommy heads down to ringside, lead by Nuriko.

The Family members jaws drop collectively as Tommy joins Fantastic in the ring and the referee rings the bell. Fantastic immediately leaps upon Snarf, pounding away at his head and the match is underway. Joe Mama on the ring apron looks at Louie and Grace, who are busily conferring with each other while shooting dirty glances across the ring. Nuriko eyes Grace warily, while attempting to fire up the fans for the makeshift team.

Snarf whips JF into the ropes and ducks down as JF leapfrogs him. JF bounces off as Tommy tags in and JF hits Snarf with a bodyblock. Snarf catches him, but is bowled over by a clothesline from Tommy.

Fantastic races across the ring and dropkicks Joe Mama off of the ring apron and onto the floor as the ref orders Fantastic to leave the ring.

He quickly does so, but as Tommy attempts to keep their momentum Snarf lashes out with a brutal kick to the jewels. Snarf tags in Joe Mama who goes to work on the former Family member. JM takes Tommy's knees out from under him and keeps him on the mat.

At Louie's urging, Grace climbs up onto the ring apron and calls for the ref's attention. Nuriko quickly does the same and the shouting match between the women quickly turns physical. As the referee attempts to separate them, Snarf enters the ring and the Family doubleteams Tommy. James Fantastic hits Snarf with a Classy Kick, knocking him through the ropes and to the floor. Fantastic follows him outside and continues their battle on the arena floor. Louie tosses the IC belt in to Joe Mama who clobbers Tommy with it, before locking in the Joe Mamalock!

As the ref turns back to the match, he sees the unconscious Tommy locked in the finisher and rings the bell. The Family moves on to the semifinals.

Monroe: "Well, we know who they'll be facing at Havoc next week!"

Marcum: "That's right, a rematch from the BattleWar! PenWing and Sammitch vs. Snarf and Joe Mama!"

RDJL vs. Princes of the Universe

"SPAAAAAANDEEEEX MOOOOOONKEEEYYYYY MAAAAANNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" As the RDJL leader's ring music sounded in the CheeseDome, the wrestling superhero affectionately known to RDCW fans as Spamm, lead his partner Tommy "The Surgeon" Savitz to ringside. Accompanying them as usual, was Rosalita, the Human Lovebomb. Rosalita and Tommy gazed at each other affectionately as Spamm posed with his mighty rod, The Monkey for the fans.

"Heeeeerrrrreeeee we are. . .born to be kings. . .we're the Princes of the Uuuuniiiiveeeerrrseee. . ." began to play as the fans loudly jeered. Shortly the song ended, to be replaced by Linkin Park's "Lying to You" As the former Notwedge, Johnny Evil headed to ringside laughing heartily. As the Family member entered the ring with his valet, Ariel, he took the microphone.

JE: "I just thought you fans might like one last chance to hear that music. . .because the Princes of the Universe are dead. . .just like the Captain of Outer Space's career."

*Crowd booes heavily. JE seems to thrive on their anger.

JE: "Now as for you two, I'm ready to compete. So, since the Doctor is allowing substitute partners, I've decided to pick a partner of my own choosing." JE smirks as the RDJL members look on confused. JE quickly turns and points at his valet "Ariel!"

Ariel looks shocked and worried as JE seems pleased with himself.

Monroe: "That's just wrong! She's not a wrestler!"

Marcum: "Hey, what do you expect from a guy who calls himself Johnny Evil!"

As Spamm and Savitz question the decision, JE attempts to calm down Ariel and the referee rings the bell, signalling for the match to start. Ariel climbs out onto the apron as JE continues to comfort her and turns directly into a flying Banana Chop from Spamm! JE rolls through however, and attempts to pin Spamm, grabbing hold of Spamm's tights as well. However he's in the ropes and the ref breaks the hold.

Ariel hops down from the ring apron and begins walking around the ring. JE screams at her to get back in the ring and walks over to where she's standing. As Spamm heads over to them, Ariel pulls a metal folding chair out from under the ring and tosses it at JE. JE grabs the chair and turns immediately, throwing it at Spamm. Spamm manages to catch the chair, but is immediately hit as JE dropkicks him in the face!"

Monroe: "Oh my Gob!"

Marcum: "JE calls that the Making of Flubber! And he just turned Spamm into Flubber for sure!"

JE grabbed the chair and continued to pound Spamm with it as the referee ordered the bell, disqualifying him. Tommy Savitz ran in to help his partner, but was also attacked with a headshot from the chair wielding Johnny Evil. As the ref struggled to regain control, JE laughed maniacly over the bodies of his fallen foes. RDJL members Bibbo and I-Man ran dodwn to ringside to aid their comrades, but JE had already done his damage.

Taking Ariel by the shoulder, JE smiled maliciously and headed to the back as the referee awarded the match to Spamm and Savitz via disqualification!

Dark Lords vs. Punch/Counterpunch

Bibbo and I-Man remained in the ring as their opponents approached for their match. The Dark Lords continued to demonstrate the ring's inability to hold them as the matched the brothers strength for strength and power move for power move. Grimm and I-Man battered each other into the mat with slams and suplexes, while Bibbo and Darth brawled into the seats and up the stairs of the CheeseDome.

While Darth and Bibbo attacked each other with anything not nailed down, Grimm attempted to lock in his Grimmlock on I-Man to gain the submission. As he did so, however, Balls Nasty appeared from nowhere and once again attacked his archenemy. Nasty hit Grimm with several Tavernsmashers, attempting to finish the job he started at NWOOTC. He turned, however directly into the waiting fists of I-Man as the RDJL member attacked the mulleted avenger. Nasty hit I-Man with a low blow, and went up top for a Kentucky Falls to put the RDJL member down. Lothar ruled this match a no contest as Balls Nasty left both men laying on the mat.
