I'm researching a paper for my environmental science class. The Miami university online library is so crammed full of documents in html and pdf it is amazing. I've found 30-40 useable articles already. No trudgeing to the library, no forking out money for copies (just my own ink and paper cost)...amazing.
Which leads to my question...Are we getting to the point where we are supposed to go to work and come home and hardly leave? Tivo, pay Per View, enhanced computer power, downloads online, delivery service. if I had a job that involved online, fax and computer work I really wouldn't have to leave (ahem, Rob). What do you all make of this technology and service enhancement to our lives? Is it good or bad, or both?
