So, I just watch Season One of Beast Wars. This show makes a hell of a lot more sense after you watch the original series. The bad guys projected an image of Unicron. Oh, and there's an episode of Starscream! Apparently his spark can die, so he takes possesion of the team idiot and starts raising hell again. I love that spunky psycho! So persistant. Oh, and Doc, that season three episode you mentioned...are you talking about the one where he gets his body back? Because it was good, but I kind of didn't like the ending. I mean, that's it. His ass is apparently floating somewhere in space. I kind of think he deserved better than that. But I loved the part when he was suppose to attach Unicron's head to Cybertron. "I need a body first!" "Um...okay." [Gives Starscream a body.] "Now, plug the two wires together like a good slave." [Throws the wires on the ground.] "Do it yourself!" What. A. Prick.

Having watched the movie again as a grown up, I gotta say that's the one thing I don't like about the movie. Optimus' death was pretty much Hot Rod's fault, then Hot Rod becomes the next Prime. Craptastic! That and I've always wondered if the Matrix chose Hot Rod only because he was the first to touch it after it fell from Prime's hand. Take those two parts away, though, and it's pretty much a perfect movie. Well, perfect through my 1980s-fan boy eyes, anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I generally liked Rodimus. He was a unsure, newbie leader, Optimus' opposite number. If it wasn't for the fact that he was ALWAYS such a vagina hole around Ultra Magnus, I would have really liked that little squirt.

You're still scarred from Primes death aren't you. . . It doesn't matter because: " PREARE FOR EXTERMINATION"  might be the most hardcore moment in cinematic history. Fuck Scarface, I say. Concerning that new press conference for the Dreamworks flick. . . I dunno if I wanna be privvy to the entire robot cast. I kinda wanna be surprised when I see a new 'Bot appear on screen.

Ultra Magnus is the blue truck, right? I had a question about him.
Okay, in the movie, Optimus called him 'my old friend'. And then later in the TV show they mention he doesn't know when he was made. So is that implying he knew Optimus back when he was a little robot before Megatron killed the little robot? Like how Elita was Ariel before Megatron killed her?

Optimus Prime - "The king!"

Oh, and note the numbers of good guys vs. bad guys. 6 to 8. I'll bet Dakota's tail one of the bad guys will switch sides. Maybe in some Dinobot/Armada Starscream sort of way, but it will happen.

The more alien they look, the more difficult it will be to sympathize with the Transformers as three-dimensional characters...but we'll see if they can pull it off.

I think I read somewhere VW won't allow their vehicles to be associated with 'such violence'. And yet, they allowed another Herbie movie...odd. Damn German hippies. I was hoping for a female VW Rabbit... Oh, and Wikipedia had this: Quote:

I don't even remember Frenzy. I remember a bird, the panther, Rumble, and then later on that space bat. Did I miss something?

Frenzy looked like Rumble, but he was a different color. He wasn't used nearly as much.

Yeah all the entertainment media had Frenzy as the red and black bot, but the toy boxes listed him as Rumble. I just went with the toons.
