I agree. Also liked that the group aged & somehow always stayed a bit older than me. Because of the group size you also had characterization that wasn't available in other titles. Characters died, lost powers, got married, had kids. They had the first woman leader, first drug story & Matter-eater lad!

For quite while it was DC's biggest letter getter & enjoyed being second in sales (Titans was #1) Even today Legion Fandom is something special. It enjoys several APAs & message boards. (even Rob gave the Legion their own subcategory here on the damn boards) Considering all that, it would be foolish of DC just to give up on the title.
