Affleck still has it in him to make good movies and to act well in them. He did a decent job in "Jersey Girl" and "Paycheck," which were a couple of his more recent movies, and he was excellent in "Changing Lanes."

I think Affleck's biggest problem is his choice of scripts. He's one of those actors that needs a good script to work with in order to give a good performance.

So I wouldn't count him out yet.
