True. I wonder how his origin will be executed. My guess is John Jameson brings the symbiote back from a space mission. Given what happened in the second movie, that seems most logical. It can't be too complicated anyway, or the non-comic types will lose interest...or their heads will explode...whichever comes first.

Superhero Hype! has learned exclusively from a very reliable source that Spider-Man screenwriter David Koepp is in talks with Sony Pictures to write Spider-Man 4!
Our source tells us that the studio is really excited about Spider-Man 3 after having seen a first cut of the movie. Add to that the phenomenal reaction to the screenings of footage at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and the momentum leading up to this point from last summer's Comic-Con, which have sparked the studio to approach Koepp about penning the fourth film's screenplay.
Koepp is not signed yet, but the studio is definitely moving forward with another installment.
Keopp recently finished the script for Indiana Jones 4 which received the green light from George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford. Besides the first Spider-Man movie, he has written such blockbusters as War of the Worlds, Jurassic Park, Panic Room, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible and Carlito's Way.
The first two "Spider-Man" films earned $1.6 billion dollars total worldwide. Spider-Man 3 kicks-off the summer on May 4.

But then continues on to explain, “All I can say is we’re going to see a lot more of [me] at some point if what Sam says is true, and Sam is the guy who knows, so I am sticking with him.”

I also want to see the Kingpin. I know he has already appeared in Daredevil, but, maybe they could have Michael Clarke Duncan reprise his role as Kingpin.

That would be cool. Although X 2 is my favorite comic book movie, the two Spidey movies have been consistantly good, whereas the three X movies have been inconsistant in quality.
Maybe Spiderman 5 or 6 could be the one where Peter mutates into a spider monster.

Excellent news about a 4th movie. The Lizard and Scorpion would fit together, it just makes sense. Especially if Raimi goes with a predator/prey plot.

Lizard and scorpion or vulture (scorpion and vulture could actually just use doc ock's stolen technology)go together.
Mysterio and Kraven go together.
Electro and spider slayer (change the name a bit) kinda go together.
You could also use the black cat or silver sable in a catwoman type role.
there are a nyriad type of possibilities and I'm sure Raimi already has them mapped out...
If the movie goes to 6..then #6 has to be the entire sinister 6 though...

Comcast has a trailer on on demand that I haven't seen before. It shows a couple shots of venom, one where its Eddie Brock in the suit with his face showing.

There's a shit load of toys in stores now. "New Goblin" still looks really gay. The toys themselves aren't bad, but smaller than the previous toys. The cool thing is 3's line has other villains like Kraven and Rhino.

Yeah, I know the third one hasn't even come out yet, but there are already casting rumors as to who will be Spidey if Tobey doesn't sign on again. Most people remember this kid from 3rd Rock, but I recently saw him in Brick which was a noirsh murder myster set in a HS and he was excellent in it.
