Dear God, this thread is some funny stuff.
Well let me ask this question, just got back from a two day date with a very nice African American man. We are planning on seeing each other again. <Thinking I may have brought this up in another thread> but my dad's side of the family (not my dad) is racist and they will disown me out of the family, if I continue to see him (they did it to me once while I was in Junior high, dad had to beg them to take me back into the family). Which is fine with me, I can care less about them. But what I am concerned about it the pressure they will put on my father. I don't intend on telling them anything. But this guy that I will be seeing again has asked about my father a couple of times and he wants to go riding with him (my father has his Harley and this other guy rides a BMW). So how do you approach a situation like this?
I figure it is far too early to worry about people meeting. And if this guy wants to continue to see me, then I will tell him about my family. If he is still okay with things, then we can worry about the other stuff later.
