i'm curious, does anyone else have a big stack of comics that they've bought and intend to read but for whatever reason haven't read yet?

i've got something like a long box at least of comics that i bought but haven't read. at first i assumed that it was just because my jobs and school were cutting into my comic reading time bt i'm starting to think it might be something more. i'm planning to go through these unread comics and see what i'm going to cut from my pull list.

anyone else been here?

Sometimes I don't read the comics until the current story line is complete.

I have the whole collection of Squadron Supreme that I bought on recommendation from my comic guy but after reading issue 1 I got bored and left the rest of the stack. I also have Loeb and Sales Challengers of the Unknown series but I don't feel like reading that either, and all the issues of Waterloo Sunset. Basically I'm going to stop taking recommendations from my comic guy.

Yup. I have tons like that. I have entire runs in favorite books that I can't get myself to read. I have guest appearances that I just file and forget about. And I have issues from books that I kept meaning to take off my pull list but kept getting.

I buy comics in my sleep sometimes, but I'm trying to cut back.

I have 560 gigabytes of scanned & downloaded comics in a secret vault the location of which is known only by the Pentagon. I've read about 2% of them.

I went out for a six-month deployment once and had the comics shop save a few titles for me while I was gone. When I got back, I had two HUGE stacks of size previously unimaginable waiting for me. Cost me a few hundred.

Twas good, though. Gave me all the reading materials I needed for the mini-underways that followed.
