Of course, Tom Baker, that's it! I knew it was a ridiculously simple sort of name, but I never can remember it. I used to love that show as a kid, but I can never find it on TV (I think a few years ago it came on BBC America at like 3AM, but I never had a chance to watch it).
That almost sounds like something from HHG2G: giving something a name so simple that no one can remember what it is. Kinda like the S.E.P. field.
