sweet friggin flick. very cool and clean, like with a ocean's eleven / pulp fiction feel. and very, very true to the comic -- right down to reusing identical dialog and scenes.
very beautiful.
the acting didn't always translate right. the dialog and text and voice overs were all very pulpy and milleresque, but unless you're willing to accept that going in, you mighr find it a little drab at times.
