whut should a brotha do?

I've alternated between a goatee and a clean-shaven face for several years now. I grew my first full beard at 18, which was 8 years ago, but you can get away with being shaggy at that age...

The problem I've found with being clean-shaven is that because I have a very youthful face, I'm constantly thought to be about six or seven years younger than I really am. The goatee definitely gives it a harder look which adds age.

On the other hand, even though I live on the west coast, my last girlfriend didn't really dig my goatee all that much. Sure, she liked it when I had it, but when I shaved it off she finally revealed she prefers to kiss a guy with no facial hair.

Hey, if you can get away with having a goatee with NO mustache, I say go for it. The mustache is really the only drawback to the whole thing, I think, and the itchiest part.

'Course, you could go all out with the mustache and look like The Edge, or something... but that look's probably fading by now...

This is my second post here.
