I think that the best way to deal with it is either to ignore Oakley or to tolerate him. If you're not responding to him, then eventually he'll have no choice other than to move on. Doing it this way, you give him the space to either settle down or to go elsewhere.

Why waste time responding to someone who you don't like and who is dragging the boards down? This time is better spent talking to the people who you do get on with and writing stuff that will make the boards a better and less boring place to visit.
