My mom was worried when she asked if I would like to attend Easter Mass with her that I might be offended. I then realized/put into words how I would really only be offended if my mom DIDN'T want me to participate in something that makes up such a large part of her life. Faith is the core of many people's lives and if they want to spread the love, more power to them. So long as they don't try to convert me.
That seems like the most reasonoble way of looking at it.
