Besides, trivia and other interesting facts can make for interesting conversations with some cool people. And the chivalric code (another trait which seems to be common among most people named Brian) is a good thing. While yes, you wouldn't be able to ask out the girl who seems to project interest in you because you're friends with someone who's infatuated with her, you can at the very least live with a clear conscience.
