If you pick up whores and are promiscuous and engage in unprotected sex you have a higher likelyhood of getting any number of STDs, including AIDS, than any person who has 'safe' sex with a small amount of people that are not random strangers. I don't think statistics (which, by the way, can be slanted to show anything you want them to) have any necessity in the discussion. It's common sense.
