Trying to reason what will happen by using what could happen as your mediator doesn't work. You do try to get hurt, and more than that you succeed in doing so each time you participate in anal sex. Moreover, sexually active homosexuals have the intent to be hurt each time they decide to have sex in their preferred way. I reiterate that there's no way not to get hurt and they (you) know it. Your lip-service may attest that you don't want to be, but you deliberately harm yourself (note I didn't say, "put yourself in the way of harm"). A sports player carrys no intent to be hurt, that's specifically what he/she avoids.
