Stick to what I said, not what you think I said.
I said he might see things differently than he does now. That does not mean a 180 on his current opinion. But he might not be quite so severe or convinced he's right.
I never said, "If you were older you would definitely agree with me." You're older than he is and you don't agree with me. There's no way I think that age will totally change him. But it might soften him, even just a bit.
