I read a few comments that just struck me as odd - particularly about people supporting the bill because they see it as a political issue. I just can't imagine someone voting against a bill like this to be politically damaging.
I also don't know if I agree about video games not being a form of media and leaving it to vendors to determine what's acceptable to be sold.
