i only like three
i went with sting, vampiro, and norman smiley!
sting is really the only instant-money name up there. other guys have a varied amount of appeal or cult followings, but sting is guaranteed to sell some tickets. however, sting (at least last i heard) is also still very against the wwe style. at least, until they list his price.
i always thought it'd be worth signing him, because he's not all that old (or at least not as fragile as others as old as him) and probably has a few years left in him to make great ppvs and then give back to the bidniz.
vampiro would be a great pickup as he's very skilled, relatively popular, has a unique (to the current wwe) angle, and could probably be purchased for pretty cheap
and norman smiley cuz he's funny!

as much as i like ddp, i did not vote for him, as (from what i've read recently) he seems pretty fed up with the business -- doesn't exactly seem like the kinda guy that'll give a lot back, at this point.

I went with Sting, Vampiro, Blue Meanie, Corino, and Crowbar. Of course, there a few folks not on the list I also would've picked, like O'Haire, Danny Doring and Roadkill, Slyk Wagner Brown and April Hunter, and Mike Awesome.

My first WWE post. HUGE fan with a ton to offer I hope.
Sting. First off, everyone knows he is money at the gate. Guarunteed. Old School Sting, Crow Sting, it wouldnt matter. Have him come out to taunt future Smackdown Champion HHH with a series of vignettes and rafter nonesense before setting up the paranoid Champion HHH with a title match, but ultimately HHH would survive as champ.
DDP. Its me, its me, its DDP. I have always thought that DDP would be best served next to JR at the broadcast table. That way they can flush JR down the stinkin toilet.
Thats it on that list. Although I have heard that the Blue Meanie is looking quite fetching these days.
Reasons why I wouldnt hire some of the others. (not doing them all)
Vampiro. From everything that I have heard he is not only difficult to work with backstage, but he often goes off script during matches and hates the WWE schedule. No need for a guy like that IMO.
Shane Douglas - Shane hasnt seemed to get along with any of his former employers. Why would 2005 be any different?
Van Hammer - Hmmm, I think I can only say. HE REALLY SUCKS!! Thats a good enough reason right?
Crowbar - I always had a softspot for Crowbar (except when he had the valet Daphne), problem is that he seems to always get injured. Not worth the risk.
Konnan - I would hire him if he PROMISED PROMISED PROMISED not to say "Olalay, viva la razza" or whatever the hell he says EVERY SINGLE time he comes to the ring. Man, he annoys me.
I am a robot that collects your innermost thoughts to bring back to corporate headquarters.
Beep beep.

Sting- Who the hell wouldn't hire this guy. Great ring skills. Great mic skills. Plus, he already has a legion of fans at his disposal. I'd bring him in, give him the World Heavyweight belt that he's worn so many times before and give him a long run as champ to bring meaning back to the title. Then have him drop the strap to someone like Jericho or Benoit.
Vampiro- His feud with Sting in WCW was cool as shit. I think he'd do great against some of the WWE talent. Especially would like to see an angle against the Undertaker. Darkness vs. darkness. Could be cool as fuck.
Kid Kash- Cuz New Jack is probably in jail somewhere.
The Blue Meanie & Norman Smiley- These dudes are great without ever stepping foot in the ring. Who can forget the BWO or Smiley stealing the championship belt from little kids with their own backyard fed? Guys like these are underused or completely misused in my opinion. Seems the WWE wants to make other, more serious wrestlers into what these dudes can pull off naturally. Give these guys the comdey vinettes and let the other wrestlers work the way they are best capable of working.

With the possibility of an ECW based show, why not go after those who made ECW a brand name like Sabu and Sandman? I would've voted for Sting but I don't think I'll live long enough to ever see him step in a WWE ring (but I felt the same way a long time ago with Bret Hart doing the same with WCW and look what happened...of course with disasterous results)
Also voted for Konnan, Vampiro and Stevie Ray (get him back with Booker T and try and revive the pitiful excuse of a WWE tag team wrestling)
