No, you're correct. If the Flash obeyed the laws of physics he should've run himself off the world long ago. The force of gravity is much too weak to keep him on Earth at very high velocity.
Lets not forgte that the phenomena equated in to the disreputive use of the essence known only as "The Speed Force", would most definately have disentigrated his fleshy goodness when reaching light speeds
