See the woman in the above picture? She answers to the name of Alley Baggett. Born August 14, 1974 (I'll save you guys the math, she's 29). She has her own comic book, lingerie line and (of course) fanclub. She likes to involve herself in charities benefitting aquatic life.

What bearing does her life have on mine? None whatsoever. Barring some unforseen circumstance, Alley Baggett and I will never meet, much less hook up. That photo is a reminder of what I have never had: a significant other. She reminds me that the second pillow in my bed (intended to be the (female) guest pillow) remains unused. In short, my honey and I aren't sleeping in each other's arms because I don't have a honey. On the bright side, my range of motion isn't restricted when I feel the need to roll over.

My point is this: you may not have anyone, but you'll always have (or be stuck with, if you're a pessimist) you. Learn to appreciate yourself and what you have to offer and others are bound to do the same eventually.
