i agree that this movie was far superior.

i was just sayin that, financially, and mass appeal...ily, it would have done spider-manishly better if it were lightened up / cornied up a bit. "american idolized," if you will.

also, ...at 150 mil and growing (it'll prolly hit 175 in domestic theaters) its not exactly like the public missed this one. it made its mark, big time.
