I keep getting those, too!!! If I've never heard of them then I don't add. It's not like they actually give a crap about you. If they are a Charleston (the town i live in) band I might add them so I can listen to their music and see if anything is going on around here. Most of them aren't that good anyway.
I don't know why I always forget that you live in Illinois. You're only a few hours from me.
