Anyway........tonight turned out weird! Taking a shower is usually one of the highlights of my life after gym (getting all the sweat off and just relaxing against the soft, warm water) until I look down and notice blood. Yeah.......from my foot? It didn't even hurt but as soon as I got out of the tub blood started draining everywhere. I spent close to an hour trying to get the blood to stop (total pain in the butt....I highly recommend not accidentally cutting your foot right after gym!). Turns out blow dryers/neosporin works every time....even though it hurts but it hardens the scab. Hrm....my blood musta been thin for some reason?!? Still don't know how I cut it and its a deep cut too.....anyway I only had like twenty minutes to get ready to go to the party (since Lindsey lived like out in the boondocks!). **Did I mention how hard it is to blow dry your hair while your foot is elevated at a weird angle.....so hard :P**
Limping up the driveway, I made it looking somewhat cute (in picture above....not that great a picture, I know, but best I could do round midnight ;p) The party ended up being somewhat fun but consdering most of the girls are engaged/married/pregnant you can guess what the conversation was about: "oh my gosh......I dont know what I'm gonna name my baby, etc. etc". Childbirth and marriage are the furthest things from my mind this time of year: more along the lines of, "is it may yet?!?"
Best part came after the party, on the way home when Amy called me!!!! Amy was my bestest friend in high school (color guard captain aka study buddy aka happy song girl. Yes....we were so bubbly and super hyper in school we came up with our very own happy song in the middle of Trig one day ;P). Anyway, she wants to get together in a few days and hang out! That is going to be SO much fun! Yeahs....I'm highly looking forward to it!
Anyway, I'm going to take my sore foot and journey on towards the bed (don't know how I'm going to run on it tomorrow but I will find a way....grrrrs!).
