I read the first one but it didn't excite me like the original trilogy. And I've always really liked Pallaeon as a character. I'm also really glad Zahn got to "book-end" the post Star Wars fiction, he was perfect for the job. If only Lucas had allowed Zahn to write the prequels... *sigh*
