no, they aren't. the Quaran is as violent as the bible.

The Bible is not as violent as the Quran. In fact, it doesn't preach violence at all. Please tell me how the Bible teaches hatred and violence.

not true. In fact, if you looked into it you'd find the Islamic teachings (not extremist readings of it) denounce killing innocents.

No, "if you looked into it", you'd see that modern Islamic teachers steer away from the orthodox principles of Qur'an that preach violence. In which case, they're rearranging their own religion (not to say it's a bad thing). The actions of the terrorists haven't been considered "extreme" ever. Never in its thousands of years of use has the purpose of Jihad been taken out of context. It's always remained in the same context. Even so however, Whether or not this was truly a millennia-long misinterpretation or just the way Jihad was supposed to be done, the ever present fact here is that the religion has been defined by this inclusion with its constant proponed use.

terrorists get around it by saying the west is an evil threat and therefore not innocent.

Again, by their own doctrine, they're not being extreme.

which is racism.

No. It's not.

Every detail about a person needs to be noted. Especially race.

also, keep in mind that Islam is the second largest religion in the world, covering many many countries.

I'm not exactly sure what this is supposed to mean.

I have never heard of a non-christian bombing a clinic.

.....Uh...Okay. What does that have to do with making sure to note that the person suspected of being apart of the bombing is Christian?

same as how wearing traditional robes is too broad. figure how many muslims there are in the U.S. versus how many (even by exagerated terms of Bush) terrorists there are in the country.

Shrouds that cover 90% of a person's head is not broad worn attire.

to hide their identities? are you insane or just stupid?

What other reason would they have been worn for when they were video-taped executing soldiers and reporters?

Quote:

it's traditional muslim wear. and the ammount of robes worn varies by country. and if you look at the 9/11 hijackers, they weren't wearing robes.

So does this mean you see a lot of guys in the US wear shrouds over their heads?
