In all fairness, teen sidekicks make a heckuva lot more sense than solo teen heroes. Sidekicks have the benefit of training, supervision, and if they get into trouble, their more experienced mentor should be able to help out. If you look at it objectively, Spider-Man makes less sense than Robin. How the heck does a high school kid invent web fluid, web shooters, and his little spider-tracer things, much less make a costume that looks professionally made?
