who is a more boring real-life person? val kilmer? or tobey maguire? who's voice is better suited for replacing ben stein?

Ya see thats the THING thats scaring me about this movie and I hope I am wrong.....Toby sounds like a friggin wimp in the trailers....

heh, well I'd say probolly Tobey. Because like franta said he looks like a wimp. It took the guy three months to get beefy enough to fit the suit! He also looks like the book reading type of guy. Val, looks good, I mean he looks like he could be a player. Plus he was already beefy to play Bats. He even sounds like a fun guy to to hang out wit. quote:

yeah, but... i think THAT part is ok. i mean, peter parker is sposda be a big ass punk. nerdy lil teenager. tobey, however (and,yeah, thats how his name is spelled) sounds like frickin norman bates. the kid is scary. and i find that it comes across in the movie (at least the few seconds of it that i've seen). the one part of the commercial, where he's talking to (i guess) aunt may in bed, and she goes 'you're not superman you know' ... and then... he flashes her that... that... look. that look of pure, unadulterated insanity. that "i coudl kill you, and no one would ever know" kinda stare. ::shivers:: anywho... quote:

he's definitely better looking, ill give him that much. but fun to be with? no way in hell. if you ever see him on, like, leno or letterman or whatever, he is THE most dull, boring individual on the planet. its like he has to wake up before answering each question, and talks like most people type. sooooo... suh-loooooww.... leee.....

eh, i think, technically, it could be. but, it was really just a harmless jab, and DC'd look like a big prick monster if they were gonna sue over it (and it would do nothing but draw bad publicity for DC, and regular publicity for the movie, DC's 'enemy').

Val Kilmer? Great actor(so great an actor, i couldnt tell the diffrence between his bats, and bruce wayne).Have to get around to watching Batman and robin again(only saw it once)to give an acrute critique. Strangly enough, I think keaton was the better Batman.

well, yer right about one thing, kilmer definitely does give his greatest acting preformance in 'batman and robin' ... anywho... its not suprising that keaton is your favorite batman -- he did an amazing job (even more so because it seemed to be such an oddly cast part).
