And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.

Hahaha...That'd be a problem. I had an ex who works at a tatoo shop. She kept offering to do one for me for free...but I couldn't decide what I'd want. I've always wanted one...but fuck if I know what I want to live with for the rest of my life.

id never get one on my upper arm,tummy, thigh,or leg. The ankle is a possibility though im not crazy about it. I like the lower back cuz it can be covered. the shoulder is a an iffy place as well cuz i dont want it seen all the time. SO as you can see i have a dilemma.

I kind of figured the answer would mainly be no, because Playboy often photoshops them off. Seems to me that they do this because the majority of "readers" don't like them.
I first noticed this with an image of Alley Baggett, a well known centrefold. She has a big tat around the back of her neck, but in most photos either her hair covers it, or they erase it.

I will say that while DK doesnt have the darkest skin in the world,tattoos should be picked even more carefully by anyone who does have darker skin,as some colours & detail is harder to see!
I have seen black guys with what could be great looking tattoos,that just look wrong because they have picked a design with colours that do not show properly or just blend into eachother.
As I have said before,a lot of thought needs to go into getting a tattoo,and all sorts of things need to be considered.

i think i would just do a solid color like an outline i guess. i dont really like the girly tatoos that require different colors. my sister has 2, both which mean a lot to her. one has color in it and is right above her back rightside hip. the other is positioned perfectly on her left shoulder so that if she wants it to be seen by dresses and shirts it can be, but it can also be covered by different straps on shirts! That one is a symbol and black or whatever the dark color ink is.

Solid colour would be better,kinda like a tribal or oriental symbol. I am personally not a big fan of those though,purely on the basis that they are more of a fashion accessory than anything else! you can also check out anilgupta.com - he's on the lower eastside in the city and his work is real purdy. I've been toying with the idea of getting a small tat for a while, but I'm just worried that at some point I'll regret getting it.

Nah,dont regret any!
I had wanted most of them since I was 18 or so,but didnt get them til I was 31,so I had long enough to think about them!
As far as pain goes,the worst was my back,but even that wasnt really painful!
Longest I have been under the needle is one & a half to two hours,and I'd say its more of an irritant than pain!
That said,I friend of mine had a small tattoo once,and she cried through all 15 mins of it!
Everyone is different!

You're right, as far as the pain goes. Then again, most of it is psychological.
The concept of the electric needle generally scares people-- especially people with fear of normal needles. Also, bear in mind that you've [probably] experienced much, much, worse pain.

I've heard that its prolly less painfull to get them done on an area with more muscle. Somewhere where its basically skin and bone, like the ankle, is supposed to hurt more, I think.

I would want something samell-ish if I were to get one, but the kind of art that I would want is too detailed for something small. Smaller the tat, less detail you can put into it.

my sister said youre right about the muscle thing. The one above her hip she said she felt numbness and was uncomfortable. Its off to the side but a part is kinda near her tail bone. She said she thought she was gonna pass out at a certain point.
