He's not my idol. I do not worship Pete Townshend. The man has plenty of faults. I'm not convinced pedophilia is one of them, though.
I doubt I would see him anytime soon to worry about leaving any of my kids in his care. Further, my kids are 16 and 12 and don't require constant adult supervision.
I know, but I mean, if he ever sets up a "Petey's Holiday Ranch" for kids, make sure you tell people not to send their kids there.
