You can't tell me that you wouldn't start to worry just a teensy bit about super-powered people, even those who appear completely good and wholesome, getting carried away with their powers.
I suppose it would be daunting at first, but better that than meta-human killers destroying whole cities. I'd actually think it was kind of cool if heroes started killing miscreants aswell. Imposed martial law would only be one step behind that, but I dont think i value life as much as most people anyway
