I wouldnt let another human just die if I was in the chaos, but I also wouldnt leave my fucking dog to die a lonely death either. Maybe I dont value life as much as other people, but not risking my life and watching a dog/human die because I'd be 'Too scared' would be fucking worse than death. It'd be one of those things that wakes me up at night, even if it was 'just' a dog
