Just got back in from Atlanta today. Grimm is still without power. He got phone and water back before we left Thursday. I've got water but no power or internet. I just came up to work to check on what's happening here and to get online and let you guys know what's happening. I won't have to come back to work until next Monday, so I'm headed up north to my mom's house for the week.

On the way to Atlanta last Thursday, Grimm and I passed a shitload of trucks from various electrical companies damn near the whole trip down I-59 & 20. Passed a few more from Norfork, VA on the way back today. Also, several military convoys with gas and water trucks as well as equipment, medical supplies, and personnel all the way from the GA state line in. Also, I milked the shit out of being in the middle of the Hurricane to cash checks and get goodies all damn weekend. For those of you donating to charities and such to help out, bless you. I know I'm doing fine right now until they get power and everything back up. I believe it's the same for Grimm. Please direct all your charity towards the people on the Gulf Coast and in New Orleans who really got hit. My roommate(who's actually Sonhaven's uncle)'s parents lost their house and the last I knew before I left Thursday, he hadn't heard from since 10:30 Monday morning. For those of you who are trying to politicize this and blame one side or politician or the other, fuck you you needle dick cunts.

I'd also like to make a side note for the debate about if religion is good for society. Before the military, electric companies, or FEMA every started to get to work in MS, churches from as far away as Florida swooped in and set up hot meal programs and brought water and clothes for people affected. Take that for what you will.

I'm off to northern MS. There's internet access up there, so I might be on later tonight.

It tends to put you immediately at a disadvantage and IMO is a sign of true weakness.
This is true both in politics and on the internet."
