its not really a game. i mean, there's no levels or super villains or anything -- not even a score or a timer.

its basically a "sim" (tamagachi-like) about raising your own dog (or dogs). and a very, very detailed sim, where you can raise your pet however you want and form its own personality.

you can let it get dirty, feed it (or not), take it for walks, etc. all yer basic stuff.

the cool parts come in with the DS features -- you can "pet" your dog with the stylus, or play frisbee with it. you can name, then call, your dog just by yelling into the built-in mic, like you would a real dog.

the dogs show so much personality at "birth" and you can really see them growing and changing over time, based on how you interact with them.

not a game, but very cool.
