The thing is, it wasn't just Harrington breaking down. Last night on the Detroit Sport's Report they showed four different plays that broke down four different ways. First, Harrington dropped back from the snap, but the line let the blitz through. Second, Harrington was protected, but he threw a crappy pass. Third, Harrington was protected, but his recievers didn't get themselves open. Fourth, Harrington off the perfect pass, and it was dropped. What they didn't show was fifth, the runningback runs into the offensive line because it can't make a whole for him. That's five different break downs, and one or more of them happens on almost every play. There is not doubt the offense won't play for Harrington, but do they have what it takes to play for Garcia? He's on the radio every Monday at 4 talking about the Lions, and I like what he has to say. He's clearly a strong leader, and he knows his stuff. He sucked in the preseason, but that's the preseason. I'm not holding out hope that he can turn this team around, but it's been done before in other cities, so I don't see why it can't be done here. I just know that the team has tuned Harrington out, and that was before the recievers got hurt. He's finished in Detroit, and maybe in the NFL. Although, if Rodney Pete could find some life in Carolina, maybe there is hope for Harrington somewhere else out there.
