taking references is one thing, but this is way too obvious. Why didnt he just copy two pictures, and then just mix them together so no-one would know?! LAZINESS! He was just begging to be caught and ridiculed even-more
I wont go on a vindictive spree of insulting him like others do, but I really cant stand his art-work. Other popular artists do draw similar faces, like Jim lee and Michael turner, but all Lefields faces look the same, the chicks are always ugly when he draws them, the characters are always scowling, their crotch is always non-existent [you have to be poud of it, dammit!], and the muscles are always so over-the-top that I just have to look away from the page before I go blind!
The colours aswell. The earlier stuff from him shown is so much better becauses its not all over-top-top darkness like Fighting American, Cap. America and Supreme
I seriously was considering picking up some issues of Supreme and 'Fighting American', his Cap. America rip-off, but I just cant stomach the artwork

Liefeld appears to be the worst of them but I remember seeing a John Byrne page from "Shrink!" which looks suspicously like it had been cribbed from Silvestri. Oops.
